There are ways to search and find the best deals online.  None of these are easy to find as each site seems to be different.  Here is a guide to navigate a deal site I like to use.  The site I enjoy is Coupon Swapper.  

Each online site has its own page.  The idea is that each individual page has the most up to date deals provided from the community.  Below is an example.

I want to explain how each page works and how you can get the best out of the site.  So we will walk through one page as an example.  The first page is a godaddy.com domain coupon page.  Notice that each page has the same layout. 

The first thing you see is the description of the store.  It tells you about the store, what they sell and what they provide.  There is also a screen shot which is valuable for the lesser known stores.  By having a screen shot you can be assured the deals on that page are for the store you are looking to get deals for.

The next section has some social signals where you can like the page in facebook or google+ it.  Next comes the most important section, the coupon codes themselves.  These codes are listed one at a time.

Each code has a description of the deal that was originally entered in.  Next it has a link to allow you to view comments by others.  You may even add comments of your own.  This allows everyone to benefit based on each others experiences.  There may be additional requirements for a particular deal.  Sharing your knowledge and learning from others is one of the best benefits of the web in general.  Then putting a laser focus on that information in certain niches can also be very beneficial.  

By using the thumbs up or thumbs down icons you can also let everyone know very quickly if the godaddy coupon is still active.
